Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families at Mudgee Public School were invited to our annual Yarn & Cuppa afternoon.
The whole family was welcomed and encouraged to chat, eat, have fun with art and discuss the dreams and goals they have for their children at MPS. Classroom teachers will then go on to prepare their students’ Personalised Learning Plans. The PLPs are collaboratively worked on with families and students to identify cultural, social and academic goals. These goals are then reviewed and/or adjusted during meetings with the students at the end of semester two and at the end of the school year.
