Yarn & Cuppa – PLP Afternoon

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families of students at Mudgee Public School were invited to a Yarn & Cuppa afternoon.

The whole family was welcomed and encouraged to chat, eat, have fun with art and discuss the dreams and goals they had for their children at MPS. Classroom teachers prepared their students’ Personalised Learning Plans then collaboratively worked with families and the students to identify cultural, social and academic goals for their children. These goals are then reviewed during meetings with the student, and the PLP folder is handed to the teacher for the following year.
