Heal Country – NAIDOC Week 2021

Students from Mudgee Public School enjoyed a week celebrating the culture and achievements of our First Nations Peoples through art, weaving, music and stories.

They also explored role models, including the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander athletes competing in the Tokyo Olympic Games.
Teachers at MPS had the chance to ‘Walk on Country’ to learn about native plants, traditional tools and other practices, such as ‘Cool Burning’.
