Students in 2L at Mudgee Public School had a lengthy discussion after engaging with the video on the Reconciliation Week website.
We also linked the topic and theme to our current History unit: The Past in the Present. Students then responded to the discussion with an artwork titled ‘Grounded in Truth’ using the current logo as inspiration. They used oil pastels, Sharpies and coloured pencils on paper. Students also created two posters using information and photographs from the Reconciliation Guide booklet.
